Stain Resistance – Quartz is a non-porous material making it a maintenance-free product. Quartz’s nonstick, smooth surface repels even the most persistent stains and retains its gleam.
Heat Resistance – Quartz is heat resistant, but not heatproof. We do not recommend placing any extremely hot cookware directly on a countertop. Temperatures may rise too rapidly, causing damage.
Health Safe – Quartz surfacing material, like granite, has been tested and certified by NSF International for use as a food preparation surface. Quartz is non-porous,  it prevents food and moisture from getting inside its surface – the primary source of bacteria growth.
